About John Morris

A native of Asheville, North Carolina, John Morris has called Western North Carolina home for his entire life. John spent nearly 30 years working in the public sector both in Law Enforcement and Education. During that time, he earned a BA in Biology from UNCA. John’s desire to serve and help others drew him to the Real Estate industry, where he is ready to assist you in the search for your new home or help you sell your current property. John became a licensed Real Estate Broker in 2020 and began working full time in Real Estate shortly thereafter. John Morris has integrity and an in-depth knowledge of the Asheville area, providing professional and competent services to assist you in finding your perfect home in the mountains. John has personal experience with both investment properties and short term rental properties. John and his wife have multiple investment and long term rental properties in 3 states along with an Air bnb in Buncombe county. An avid outdoorsman, John enjoys many of the recreational activities that Asheville and the surrounding areas offer in abundance. John enjoys trout fishing in the local streams as well as hunting in the surrounding mountains. John is active in his church, Trinity Episcopal. John earned his Eagle Scout in 1985 and continues to be active in the Scouting program, both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. John has been married to his wife Alicia L. Sisk-Morris since 1995. Alicia has her own local CPA firm in North Asheville. Together, they have a daughter Savannah Carson Morris.
